Welcome to Upstate SC Web Design, your local source for affordable web design in Anderson, SC. I’m Chad Bernhardt, a freelance web designer with nearly 25 years of hands-on experience. When you work with me, you work directly with me from the first conversation through the design of your website and any support you need afterward.
I take pride in providing personal, reliable service and clear communication. I know how frustrating it can be to deal with companies that outsource their support or make it difficult to reach the person actually working on your website. I try to keep things simple, be easy to reach, and give my clients someone local they can depend on.
Before becoming a full-time web designer, I spent nearly 20 years at Danfoss Power Solutions in Easley, SC. I started in IT, helping employees with hardware and software issues. I later moved into web development, where I built and managed a website for one of Danfoss’s new business divisions and handled SEO to improve its visibility on Google. I also developed custom web tools using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to support product configurations and other business needs.
That experience gave me a strong combination of technical knowledge, web design experience, and an understanding of how businesses actually use technology. Today, I put that experience to work helping local businesses build professional websites without the cost or hassle of dealing with a large web design firm.
I look forward to learning about your business and helping you create a website that looks great, works well, and helps your business grow.
